For graduates considering their next steps, commercial property offers a varied career with opportunities to work across different sectors, property types and disciplines.
At Innes England, we have a long history of supporting graduates as they take their first steps into the profession, helping them gain practical experience, develop their knowledge and work towards becoming qualified property professionals.
This October, we’ll be returning to Nottingham Trent University’s Built Environment Careers Fair. Students will have the opportunity to meet members of our team and find out more about building a career in commercial property.
Supporting graduates from the start
Our Graduate Programme gives graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a busy commercial property consultancy, working alongside experienced professionals and supporting clients across the Midlands.
For those pursuing a career as a Chartered Surveyor, our APC Scheme provides structured support as they work towards achieving MRICS status.
Graduates can develop their technical knowledge while gaining valuable experience of working with clients, understanding the commercial property market and putting what they have learned into practice.
For many, joining Innes England as a graduate is just the beginning. 50% of our qualified surveyors joined the firm as graduates, demonstrating the opportunities available to progress and build a long-term career within the business.
A varied career
One of the attractions of a career in commercial property is its variety.
Depending on the role, a surveyor could be advising a business looking for new premises, marketing a property for sale or to let, valuing a property portfolio, managing commercial buildings or providing advice on development and investment opportunities.
It is a profession that brings together property knowledge, commercial thinking, problem-solving and working with a wide range of people and businesses.
