Four years ago, Innes England took an exciting step forward with the opening of our Birmingham office in April 2022. Since then, the office has grown into a key strategic presence across the West Midlands, supporting clients with a wide range of professional property services while strengthening our reach across the Midlands region.
As we celebrate this milestone, it’s an opportunity to reflect on the progress made, the talented team behind the growth and the exciting future ahead.
Under the leadership of Adam Rock, the Birmingham office has continued to go from strength to strength. What began as an ambitious expansion into the West Midlands has evolved into a thriving office delivering expertise across valuation, lease advisory, investment and wider professional services.
Over the past four years, the team has expanded significantly to meet growing client demand. The appointment of Tim Ford has enhanced Innes England’s lease advisory capability, while the arrival of Matt Kitson has further strengthened the valuation team and broadened the office’s professional services offering.
The growth of the Birmingham office reflects both the resilience of the West Midlands commercial property market and Innes England’s continued commitment to delivering trusted advice backed by local knowledge and market insight.
Since opening, the Birmingham team has played an increasingly important role in Innes England’s annual Market Insite research and events programme, providing valuable analysis of the West Midlands market. The latest Market Insite 2026 report highlighted that investment activity across the West Midlands increased by more than 50% year-on-year, demonstrating renewed confidence across the region.
The report also identified continued activity across office, industrial, retail and living sectors, reinforcing Birmingham and the wider West Midlands as a major driver of commercial property growth and investment.
From advising on valuations and lease events to supporting investors, occupiers and landlords, the Birmingham office has become an integral part of Innes England’s wider Midlands offering. The collaborative approach between teams across Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Birmingham continues to provide clients with access to regional expertise combined with local market understanding.
