We are delighted to welcome Mukesh Puri as our new head of facilities management, strengthening our property and asset management department.
The appointment forms part of the department’s evolution following a number of structural changes, establishing facilities management as a formal function within the team and reinforcing our commitment to providing expert, joined-up advice that helps clients get the most from their commercial property assets.
Mukesh brings extensive experience from across the facilities management sector, having worked both in-house on the client side and on the supply side for private owner occupier clients, with the last decade spent in the managing agents’ industry. He joins us from Avison Young, where he was facilities lead on the landmark Paradise development in Birmingham, managing the public realm and car park as well as One Centenary Way. He had supported the scheme in an advisory capacity since 2015.
During his career, Mukesh has brought numerous grade A office buildings under management across the Midlands and the Southwest and supported the transition of new build developments into operation. His experience also spans retrofit projects, including full HVAC replacement alongside the installation of solar PV and rainwater harvesting systems.
He will take a leading role in developing and overseeing the facilities management function across our evolving property and asset management portfolio, growing and strengthening our existing offering.
Mukesh said: “What attracted me to this role was the opportunity to shape and develop the facilities delivery, building a team that can provide expert advice across all areas of facilities, from compliance through to operational matters.
“There’s also a real opportunity to help our clients make their properties more sustainable, which is an area where good facilities management can make a genuine difference.”
Matt Howson, our director and head of property and asset management, said: “Mukesh brings a wealth of experience across facilities and property management and has a strong track record in delivering complex operational and compliance strategies.
“His expertise will be invaluable to the department’s evolution and future direction as we further expand the team. We will continue to deliver exceptional service helping clients protect and enhance the value of their property assets while ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose.”
