Administrative expertise.

After nearly 20 years living and working by the coast in Brighton, Emma returned to her hometown of Nottingham and joined the Innes England team at the end of May 2024.

Since graduating with a degree in English/History, Emma has provided strong admin support across various construction industry disciplines, including architectural practices, quantity surveying, commercial agency, and professional & valuation teams. She has a particular interest in building surveying, developed in her previous role. 

Emma currently splits her time between supporting the Building Consultancy and Professional Services teams and is enjoying the diversity and learning opportunities in both areas.

Outside of work, Emma is an artist who creates pen and ink nature and wildlife drawings from her home studio. She is learning to create electronic music with synthesisers, works out regularly at the gym, and enjoys hiking. Emma loves live music and often attends gigs in Nottingham’s vibrant music scene.

A self-confessed nerd, Emma enjoys birdwatching and has a passion for tattoos, frequently coming up with new ideas (helped by her partner, a tattooist). She is also an avid reader of detective fiction and true crime, often finishing a book in a week.
