Head of Facilities Management

Mukesh joined Innes England as Head of Facilities Management in July 2026, bringing extensive experience in facilities and estate management across commercial, industrial and retail property.

Extensive facilities management experience

After, as he puts it, “accidentally” finding himself in an office environment after completing his studies, Mukesh went on to build a successful career in facilities management.

Having initially worked in-house within the legal and IT sectors, he moved to the supply side before progressing into the managing agents environment. Throughout his career, Mukesh has developed particular expertise in compliance, operational performance, service charge management and workplace solutions.

A significant part of his career involved the management and operation of Paradise Birmingham, the £1.2 billion city-centre regeneration project comprising office, retail, leisure and public spaces.

Working closely with clients, occupiers and delivery partners, Mukesh supported the estate management strategy across the development, with a focus on compliance, sustainability, customer experience and operational performance.

Supporting safe and efficient environments

At Innes England, Mukesh is responsible for supporting both internal and client compliance, with a particular focus on health and safety management.

His role includes ensuring planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities are completed effectively, alongside overseeing reactive works when they arise.

Drawing on his experience across a variety of property types and working environments, Mukesh helps ensure buildings are safe, compliant and efficiently managed, while supporting clients in protecting and maximising the value of their assets.

More About Mukesh

Outside of work, Mukesh enjoys walking, travelling and spending time with his family.

He has also taken part in a number of fundraising challenges over the years, including completing the London to Brighton bike ride. In 2023, he was the highest individual fundraiser for the LandAid SleepOut, raising almost £1,800.

Karate is another family interest. Mukesh has supported competitions by manning the scoring table for both Kumite and Kata while his daughter competed. He also accompanied her to Japan in 2015, where she won a bronze medal at the Karate World Cup.
