Ben heads up our investment department at Innes England after returning to his hometown of Nottingham after 15 years in London. In the first years of leading the investment service line, Ben has been involved in over £80 million of investments in the industrial, beds and office space, most notably the c.£20 million sale of Orbis 1,2 & 3 at Pride Park, Derby and the c£12 million sale of a multi-let industrial estate in Hinckley.
Prior to joining Innes England, Ben spent 15 years in London working for a number of top tier property consultancies including CBRE, Strutt & Parker and Matthews & Goodman, where over the past six years as a senior investment advisor he was involved in over £250m of real estate transactions across a variety of sectors for institutions, property companies, private equity and public sector clients. In addition, he was a retained advisor to a Greater London District Council providing strategic advice on their £100 million property portfolio.
Prior to this he spent time at CBRE undertaking international real estate transactions for Government, Pharmaceutical and Banking clients, and eight years at Mapeley, the firm co-founded by George Soros and Delancey before later being acquired by US private equity firm Fortress Investment Group, where he was an Asset Manager overseeing a £600 million UK fund.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys hitting the slopes and playing football and spending time with his family.
