Development Monitoring for funders and lenders

you can trust innes england

Our development monitoring service protects the interests of those that have a financial interest in the development of a building or construction works, but are not directly involved in the process itself. This could be a lender but can also be an owner, investor or developer.

Working alongside our Professional Services team, we monitor the progress of a project and provide the necessary reports to enable the drawdown of payments and where necessary, provide technical advice.

Our development monitoring service includes:

  • A valuation report for a lender to advise on the value of the site before the build has commenced and what it will be worth on completion
  • A building surveyor’s report will assess the build costs and other construction related risks
  • Most banks/funders require both reports before they approve a loan facility
  • Once the loan is approved, we monitor the build and approve loan drawdowns in stages to the developer
