Whether you are an owner, investor or occupier; a reinstatement cost assessments (RCA) will calculate the total rebuild cost of your property for insurance purposes. Typically, these are re-calculated every three years or following significant building alterations with the aim to ensure your investment is appropriately insured at the correct level.
Innes England’s team of highly experienced, chartered surveyors undertake RCAs on a regular basis, often working on annual renewals. We work closely with colleagues in our Property Asset Management and Professional Services departments and third-party services as required to give you a detailed appraisal of the insurance assessment. We have successfully delivered RCA’s for individual properties through to large property portfolios.
Our aim is to prevent any potential loss in the event of being under-insured, by ensuring you have the correct level of insurance for your property. Conversely, it may save you money if a property was previously over-insured and high premiums were being paid unnecessarily.
